Monastery of the Holy Trinity in Mexico

From Fr Nektary (Mexico) 9/23 a.m.: 9/25/217

Vladika; it seems like a long nightmare… This morning we had a third earthquake 6:3 Richter. When we hear the alarm, hysterically everybody ran to the streets from wherever we were; many half naked due to be found still in their beds.  No victims, we survived it, but are now even more fearful; people are breaking into tears, having nervous breakdowns. Three major earthquakes in only fifteen days!!!  If this continues, along with the rain, many already damaged buildings will collapse on the top of many people.  Lord have mercy on us!!!  KEEP PRAYING FOR MEXICO.

To all Faithful,

Pray for our monastics as well as for all who suffered in Mexico and throughout from the recent calamities.

Our monastery of the Holy Trinity has greatly suffered. Fortunately, the monastics are alive.

As you are all aware, Mexico has suffered two earthquakes, not to mention the calamities throughout the United States. The second 7.1 earthquake that Mexico City suffered a few days ago has brought much damage and taken lives.

In Christ,
+Archbishop Kyrill

LITANY OF FERVENT SUPPLICATION

That Thou mightest change Thine anger to mercy, and have mercy upon those people who have suffered from the earthquake in Mexico, and who are now in difficult straits, we fervently pray to Thee, hearken and have mercy.

That Thou mightest deliver them from the danger of the terrible earthquake, console the widows and orphans, restore the fallen dwellings, grant peace and tranquility, and send down Thy rich mercy, we pray Thee, O Source of Mercy, hearken and have mercy.

That Thou mightest deliver all of us, who have angered Thy long-suffering by our evil deeds, from the danger of fearful earthquakes, and give not Thine inheritance over to destruction, with compunction of heart, we pray to Thee, hearken and have mercy.

Visitors from Abroad

Sunday, July 9th, we were honored to have yet more visitors from abroad to our All Saints Parish.

Roman Torgashin, Director of VERA Orthodox Christian radio station in Moscow, his wife, Nadezhda and their children Maria, Michael,Juliania, Ekaterina and Alexandra. It was inspiring to hear the comparison of starting a mission here not unlike after the fall of communism and the churches having to start over in Russia.

These visits are good for all of us.
Many and blessed years!
